The successful candidate will have experience building marketing strategies, creating data-informed marketing plans and leading the execution of go-to-market initiatives designed to make a difference in the lives of Canada Life clients (existing and new), as well as those who distribute our products and services.


What you will do
  • Integrates business goals and project objectives into customer-centred marketing strategies
  • Partners with the customer experience, data and insights teams to understand the end-client and identify marketing opportunities based on insights, market research and other relevant data
  • Translates complex product information into compelling stories that drive audiences to act
  • Leads the design and delivery of integrated marketing plans, including planning of paid advertising, digital and social media marketing campaigns
  • Supports distribution channels and wholesalers to more effectively market and position products and services
  • Fosters strong relationships with business partners such as Insurance Product Solutions, Insurance Operations and Advisory Network
  • Ensures brand consistency and effectiveness across channel audiences and marketing mediums (print, digital, social)
  • Evaluates performance of project strategy and execution of tactics, using key learnings to inform continuous improvement

What you will bring
  • A skilled marketer with 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience, preferably in the financial/business industry
  • A strong communicator and project leader accustomed to collaborating with internal and external partners to articulate, influence and execute a strategy or initiative
  • Experienced in multi-disciplined marketing: product, agile, digital, distribution etc.
  • A data enthusiast, experienced in collecting data, analyzing research and reporting on findings and recommendations
  • A strong problem solver who makes informed decisions
  • Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates collaborative and productive working relationships with business partners and colleagues
  • Independent worker who can manage multiple tasks and responsibilities; and a team player who works collaboratively in a matrix environment
  • A graduate from a post-secondary institution, specialized in a related field
