Job Description

Summary:
This position will take an active role in coordinating and managing the planning and movement of inventory from supplier to warehouse to customer. They will externally liaise between supply sites and company distributors, while internally analyzing and reporting on inventory and forecast plans.

• Other company divisions as needed and required by the position.

Responsibilities & Duties:
The key responsibilities and duties for which the Logistics Associate will be responsible include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinating with international suppliers to track the status of shipments and arranging the delivery warehouse.
• Liaising with clearing and forwarding agents.
• Ensuring that all provided documentation is accurate, including shipping documentation, packing lists, customs clearance documents, etc.
• Ensuring that all the shipment invoices are accurately checked and filed.
• Acting as the key point of contact with 3PL providers on inbound and outbound shipments.
• Coordinating inventory shipments to satellite distribution centers.
• Development of shipping forecasts and sales forecast in coordination with Sr. Specialist and commercial inputs.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Minimum 2+ years\' experience in logistics and/or Canadian pharmaceutical industry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization, prioritization, and project management skills
• Works well under pressure in a team-based environment
• Meticulous and detail-oriented with strong work ethic
• Sound problem solving and decision-making abilities

• Works independently and accomplishes tasks without supervision
• Proficient user of Microsoft Excel and other Office products
