We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a commitment to providing exceptional legal services. This role involves representing clients in various legal matters, conducting thorough research, and drafting legal documents. The successful candidate will be adept at negotiation and have excellent writing skills to effectively communicate complex legal concepts.

Duties

Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and other legal matters. Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategy. Draft, review, and revise legal documents including contracts, pleadings, and motions. Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends. Collaborate with other lawyers and staff to ensure effective case management. Provide clients with informed advice on their legal rights and obligations.

Experience

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required. Admission to the Ontario Bar is mandatory. Proven experience in legal research and writing, with a strong emphasis on legal drafting. Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
