We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and client-focused Family Law Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and a genuine interest in helping clients navigate emotionally charged and often complex legal matters. You will work on a range of family law issues including separation and divorce, parenting arrangements, child and spousal support, and property division. You will compassionately address these matters by invoking appropriate dispute resolution approaches.

What you will do:

Represent and advise clients on matters such as divorce, custody and access, support obligations, and property division. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including separation agreements, parenting plans, and court applications. Appear in court and mediation sessions, advocating for clients with professionalism and compassion. Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies and written arguments. Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and goals, ensuring tailored legal solutions. Maintain detailed case files and manage deadlines across a dynamic caseload. Stay up to date with evolving family law legislation and case law to provide informed legal advice.

What you bring:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Member in good standing with the Law Society of Saskatchewan. Minimum 1 year of experience in family law. Strong knowledge of Saskatchewan family law and related court procedures. Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Compassionate, solution-oriented approach to client service. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple files effectively. * Ability to manage multiple complex transactions and meet tight deadlines.
