Job Description
Are you passionate about Investor Relations and looking for a change that\'ll expand your already amazing skillset? We\'ve partnered with our client in the Mining industry in their search for an Investor Relations Associate. This is a fully on-site role.
To be considered for the role, you\'ll need: Passion for the work you do, Proactive approach, Willingness to take on tasks that may fall outside of the general scope, Ability to work outside of business hours from time to time.
Here\'s what you\'ll do:
- Cold calling, answering inquiries and promoting the company through telephone and email contact
- Maintain the CRM database
- Marketing tasks: assist with writing, editing, and releasing press releases, manage the corporate website, maintain social media presence and digital marketing campaigns
- Research and analyze industry, market, and competitor information
- Prepare quarterly IR reports
- Assist with planning of meetings, conferences, road shows and project tours
- Both domestic and international travel coordination
- Build and develop relationships with retail investors and brokers
Here\'s what you need:
- University degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or other relevant education
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course or a willingness to do so
- Previous knowledge and experience in the mining industry, investment banking or sales are considered an asset
