Overview

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Insurance Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, The Associate Insurance Advisor is a key player in the support and development of the agency operation primarily through sales and service. This role utilizes a broad knowledge of The Co-operators insurance products and services including personal lines (auto, home) and specialty lines (farm and commercial). In addition, may provide sales and service for life and wealth products if life licensed.

You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients in understanding their insurance needs and options. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to effectively market and sell insurance products.

Responsibilities

Engage with clients to assess their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions. Communicate complex insurance concepts clearly and effectively to clients. Market various insurance products and services to potential customers. Complete front line risk assessment and selection following underwriting guidelines. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales administration tasks. Provide ongoing support and service to existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve customer service processes. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings.

Requirements

Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the insurance General Insurance License is required Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively. Knowledge of auto and property insurance products and experience with selling techniques is an asset Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes for clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping. A passion for helping others navigate their insurance options effectively.

Pay: $40,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
