Reporting to the Lead Graphic Designer, the Associate Graphic Designer will help execute and elevate the SSENSE brand voice across print, digital, and social platforms, ensuring the visual identity is respected across all applications. The ideal candidate is an adept multitasker with demonstrated graphic design skills and knowledge of fashion, pop culture, and contemporary art and design. RESPONSIBILITIES Graphic Design 90%
Conceptualize and produce design editorial assets for fashion editorials, interview features, and op ed articles
Conceptualize and produce design assets to support all Sales and Marketing channels (Newsletter, Affiliates, Paid Media, Media Kits, Corporate Branding)
Conceptualize and produce design assets and animations to support Social Media reach out
Produce presentation decks following SSENSE graphic guidelines to support internal communications
Assist other Graphic Designers with asset creation for print and digital
Work collaboratively with other team members such as Editors, Graphic Designers, and Creative Leads to ensure adherence to brief and requirements
Adhere to production schedules to meet deadlines for asset creation
Ensure that visual brand guidelines for all applications of the SSENSE graphic identity are respected across all assets to help elevate the SSENSE brand voice
Strategy 10%
Contribute to the development of a strong, innovative and well-defined graphic design language for the brand by participating in the conceptualization of new design approaches for print and digital design assets
Research and remain abreast of developments and trends in graphic design, and share findings and recommendations with broader design team
Qualifications
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Graphic Design, or a related field
A minimum of 1 year experience in Graphic Design, agency experience preferred
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign)
Experience with Figma a plus
Excellent understanding of page layout, typography and interaction design; experience with animation and video a plus
High facility with creating and using grids, sequence, structure, and consequential storytelling
Exceptional ability translating concepts into unique, brand appropriate form
Strong understanding of fashion photography and the luxury market
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in both English and French
