ROLE SUMMARY
The Associate Finance Manager plays a critical leadership role in driving financial performance, operational excellence, and strategic insight across the organization. This individual will lead core treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, and will provide recommendations on foreign currency needs to the Controller.
As a trusted business partner, the Associate Finance Manager will take ownership of SG&A budgeting and forecasting, collaborating closely with department heads to manage expenses and support decision-making.
This role also oversees working capital forecasting and leads initiatives to improve the cash conversion cycle performance by building capability across teams through training and implementing best practices.
The Associate Finance Manager acts as the systems lead for the Finance team, driving process improvements and maximizing the value of financial systems and tools through system enhancements and organization wide initiatives.
The role will also support oversight of accounting and tax operations, ensuring internal control and tax compliance, and alignment with reporting requirements.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIESLead working capital consolidation and forecasting process for the organization. Identify and investigate variances to ensure accuracy and awareness of underlying drivers. Drive transparency through insightful communication of results. Own SG&A budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with functional leaders to ensure effective expense management and informed decisions. Manage local treasury function including cash flow projections that informs foreign currency hedging strategy and perform analysis of foreign exchange impact to business results. Support the oversight of accounting and tax operations, ensuring adherence to internal controls and alignment with financial reporting requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to monitor and enforce accounting practices, streamline tax processes, and ensure the accurate and timely submission of tax filings in compliance with relevant regulations. Act as the SAP S/4 Hana implementation lead for the organization and the financial systems lead for the finance team driving process improvements through system enhancements. Provide guidance and support for system adoption across the organization ensuring tools are user friendly and aligned with business needs. Partner with cross functional teams to support M&A integration projects providing valuable financial and reporting guidance to the integration team. Serve as the primary support to the Controller, acting as a strategic partner in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and driving key initiatives across accounting, tax, and financial systems.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSStrong technical expertise in data collection, forecasting best practices, and financial analysis and interpretation Experience designing and implementing new processes to streamline operations and reduce complexity Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail Proficiency with financial systems, including optimizing current tools and navigating new system integrations Solid understanding of accounting and tax principles, and internal control design Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing teams or projects successfully Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong business partnerships Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE5 years experience in a finance role, preferably in the consumer-packaged goods industry Professional Accounting Designation - CPA (or MBA) Strong experience with organization wide ERP systems. Familiarity with SAP/S4 Hana, and Oracle (Smart View) is a plus.
