We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and specialized procedures such as oral surgery and endodontics. Duties
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
Utilize dental imaging and medical documentation tools such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and other electronic health record systems to accurately document patient information.
Conduct patient assessments, diagnose oral health issues, and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with best practices in general and pediatric dentistry.
Apply infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
Collaborate with dental team members to deliver exceptional patient care using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Maintain detailed medical records and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards including medical terminology accuracy and medical imaging procedures.
Stay current with advancements in dental technology and procedures such as dental fabrication and endodontics to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Valid license to practice dentistry in the state of employment.
Proven experience in general dentistry; experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, or prosthodontics is highly desirable.
Proficiency with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar platforms.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical documentation standards.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment plans clearly.
Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures with precision.
Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a focus on quality care and patient satisfaction.
