Responsibilities

Perform a variety of dental procedures, including examinations, fillings, extractions, and preventive care. Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and preferences. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as Dentrix. Educate patients on oral health and hygiene practices to promote long-term dental wellness. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and incorporate new techniques as appropriate. Provide specialized care for pediatric patients, ensuring a positive experience for children and their families.

Skills

Proficiency in using dental software, particularly Dentrix for record management and treatment planning. Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred, with the ability to engage effectively with younger patients. Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for restorative procedures is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
