Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional patient care while utilizing their expertise in general dentistry and specialized procedures. The Associate Dentist will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of infection control, patient safety, and medical documentation compliance in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Duties



Provide comprehensive dental care including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry as needed. Perform dental examinations, patient assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans. Conduct dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, and dental fabrication with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques. Utilize advanced imaging technology for diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain accurate medical records and document all patient interactions in compliance with HIPAA standards. Educate patients on oral health, treatment options, and post-treatment care using appropriate dental terminology. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient practice operations and excellent patient care. Stay current with the latest developments in dentistry by participating in ongoing professional development.

Requirements



Valid dental license to practice as an Associate Dentist. Proficiency with dental software used Experience or familiarity with pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (including root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and general dentistry procedures. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently. Experience working within a dental clinic or office environment preferred. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and education. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations for medical documentation and medical records management. Ability to work effectively within a team while maintaining high standards of infection control and safety practices. Schedule-Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays between the London and St. Thomas location

Qualifications required;

-Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or Completion of the NDEB Equivalency Exam

-Minimum of 1 years of dental experience required

-Licensed with the provincial licensing (RCDSO)

- first AID& CPR BLS Certification

Pay: $110,621.29-$395,082.31 per year
