Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice for part-time especially Tuesdays and Fridays. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients across all age groups, ensuring high standards of patient comfort, safety, and treatment efficacy. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative team environment utilizing advanced dental technology and maintaining adherence to all regulatory standards. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing dental conditions, developing treatment plans, and performing a wide range of dental procedures with precision and professionalism.

Duties



Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using digital tools such as Paradigm. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, utilizing expertise in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and other specialties. Perform dental procedures including restorations, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthetic placements, and other restorative treatments while maintaining aseptic technique and infection control protocols. Utilize advanced skills in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Ensure accurate documentation of medical records and treatment notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental terminology standards. Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health. Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to infection control protocols and utilizing proper medical imaging techniques for diagnosis and treatment planning. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care delivery and uphold the practice's quality standards. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques to continually improve clinical skills.

Qualifications



Valid state license to practice dentistry with current credentials. Proven experience working in a dental clinic or office setting Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control procedures, and HIPAA regulations. Proficiency in performing diverse procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics (including dental fabrication), endodontics, and oral surgery. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment options clearly. Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus; ability to handle pediatric patients with compassion is essential. Ability to work efficiently within a team environment practicing four-handed dentistry techniques. Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and aseptic technique throughout all procedures. Pay: $109,403.41-$388,141.67 per year
