Duties

Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral conditions. Provide preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care for patients of all ages. Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for patient management and record keeping. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient flow. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment options. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. Stay current with advancements in dentistry, including CAD technology. Manage pediatric cases with a focus on creating a positive experience for young patients. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. Experience with Epic and Dentrix software is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry. Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients. Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
