Job Description

Overview: Yaletown Counselling Inc. is looking for a part time associate contract position(s) for in office and virtual counselling, with a fixed percentage per session. Hours are flexible for virtual and dedicated days are offered for in person appointments.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Master's degree in counselling psychology, clinical psychology, or social work Registration in good standing with your professional organization Professional Liability Insurance Capable of working independently Minimum of 2 years experience post graduation in a clinical setting Weekend and some weekday evening availability for in person appointments Comfortable with social media marketing
It would be helpful if you have knowledge, experience and/or training in working with:

Somatic therapy modalities (such as EMDR, AEDP, etc.) Specific communities Mental health - Anxiety, depression, addictions, PTSD and/or trauma. Grief and Loss Post MVA (ICBC) CBT, DBT, ACT, Interpersonal Therapy, Mindfulness.
