Company: MarshDescription:Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Toronto office:Associate Client Executive \xe2\x80\x93 Construction & Design Industry PracticeWhat can you expect?

  • You will be joining a dynamic national team consisting of insurance and surety professionals. In Toronto, there is a team of 40 people including Client Executives, Associate Client Executives and Client Representatives. You will be dedicated to the insurance team which consists of over 20 colleagues.
  • In your first few weeks you will be learning the systems, Marsh internal processes and get an understanding of the existing clients and client needs within the Practice.

  • Support Client Executives and be a first point of contact for day to day communications with clients, as well as manage your own book of business.
  • Management and follow through on all client requests from assigned book of business
  • Manage clients and provide clear direction and instruction to other team members
  • Provide top quality day to day service on client deliverables, including pre and post renewal processes
  • Advise clients on insurance requirements for tender requests \xe2\x80\x93 Contract reviews, providing indication pricing, advising on exposure and gaps in coverage etc.
  • Identify potential areas of growth for existing clients
  • Support sales professionals on prospecting new clients
  • Lead negotiations of renewals and projects with specific insurance terms for existing clients in support of the Client Executive
  • Assist with accounts receivable collections on consistent basis
  • Manager renewals with commercial accounts
  • Exceed customer relationship management standards and maintain strong long lasting relationships with clients acting in their best interest
  • Ability to make recommendations on operational strategies/ new initiatives to increase efficiently of the team you manage, to increase revenue growth, and to enhance the brand image
What you need to have:
  • 5 years+ commercial insurance experience.
  • A RIBO license
  • Possess a solid understanding of basic property/casualty insurance principals and risk management concepts.
  • Be detail-oriented with good computer skills with proficiency in email, word processing and spreadsheet software, as well as working knowledge of presentation software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be results oriented with a strong client service focus.
  • The ability to work independently and within a team-based environment.
  • Strong organizational skills in prioritizing work, multi-tasking and consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Strong customer service skills
What makes you stand out:
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance, Experience in construction preferred Construction Insurance Experience, including annual programs and project specific coverage
  • RIBO Licensed
  • Broker Licenses in other provinces, would be an added benefit
  • Exceptional time management and leadership skills
