The Opportunity
This position works out of our Mississauga, Ontario location in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. We're focused on helping people with diabetes, manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We're revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
What You'll Do
Help define, manage, and track marketing strategy and promotional plan for the HCP marketing team.
Work with HCP marketing team to develop new resources/tools aimed at healthcare professionals.
Collaborate and coordinate with the marketing, communication and other ADC divisions for shared conferences and events.
Interact with external partners such as creative agency, internal resources (local and international) and Global Strategic Marketing
Track marketing project expenses and assist in managing the budget.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
At least 2 years of marketing/product management experience preferred
Knowledge of Canadian healthcare landscape
Knowledge of brand and market dynamics, knowledge of financial processes, familiarity with GCP/SOP, etc.
Provide customer service excellence.
Excel at research, possesses excellent writing skills and the ability to build editorial content and technical writing.
Experience sourcing and managing content development.
Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment.
Outstanding attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Ability to communicate results to management and in a fast-paced environment.
Possess strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
Excellent presentation skills
Independent thinking, resourcefulness and problem-solving.
