Smash Sports is seeking passionate baseball coach to join our team. We are dedicated to fostering talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship among players of all ages.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Baseball Coach
Responsibilities:
Assist the head coach with all aspects of the baseball program, including practices, games, and team meetings.
Work with players to improve their skills and knowledge of the game.
Help develop game strategies and game plans.
Assist with equipment management and maintenance.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all players.
Attend all practices, games, and team events as required.
Other duties as assigned by the head coach.
Organize and oversee practice matches and tournaments.
Assist in organizing and conducting tournaments, clinics, and camps.
Foster teamwork and sportsmanship. Ensure players' safety during sessions and matches.
Qualifications:
Previous experience coaching baseball. Strong knowledge of the game of baseball. Strong understanding of techniques and strategies. Excellent communication skills and patience. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work effectively with players, parents, and other coaches. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Experience:
Coaching Certification (preferred) First aid (preferred) Previous Coaching experience Vulnerable Sector Background Check (required upon hiring)
