What is the opportunity?



The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in North York is seeking a Senior Associate Advisor to join a large high performing Advisory Team. You will deepen client relationships by offering sound advice and support to clients as well as the Investment Advisor. You will also play a key role in identifying and assisting growth of new business opportunities.

What will you do?



Relationship manager for a segment of the Investment Advisor's book. Provide investment advice and wealth planning to clients. Support the advisory team and clients through the Wealth Management process. Help gather relevant information, coordinate activities with Wealth Management specialists, track progress and follow up. Help build and execute business plans, client segmentation, and client service plans. Support the trading and / or portfolio rebalancing function. Coordinate meetings and events for yourself and the Investment Advisor with clients and prospects: help determine agenda and key topics, prepare documentation, execute post-meeting work. Attend client meetings when required. Provide proactive client service with a problem-resolution focus and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary. Respond to client account inquiries and remain accountable to follow-up, as required Identify and execute opportunities among existing client base for asset consolidation, referrals to COIs and wealth planning needs. Co-manage client acquisition pipeline (prospects / leads); work with advisory team to close new opportunities. Deepen existing relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs). Regularly review research on markets and investments, provide regular updates to the advisory team.

What do you need to succeed?



Must Have



Currently Registered Representative (RR) licensed with IIROC / CIRO Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course At least two years of client relationship/advisory responsibility University degree Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite A self-directed individual with a growth and goals-oriented mindset Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English The desire to work on a large team

Nice to have



Investment Management Techniques (IMT) Financial planning accreditations Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving and analytical skills
