Job Description


Position Summary:
The Associate Digital Marketing Manager has responsibility for the management of Marketing initiatives related to our digital communities to ultimately drive business unit growth and profitability. Responsible for collaborating with the assigned Manager on short and long-range digital brand strategies inclusive of pricing, product mix, brand communication, consumer segmentation and targeting, distribution, etc.
The Associate Digital Marketing Manager represents the business across the organization and works cross-functionally to achieve goals. This position must be able to mentor teams accordingly. Specific Responsibilities:


eCommerce Launch Management
Optimize digital merchandising to help drive branding, product placement and business performance across all e-commerce platforms. Manage product descriptions, digital content, and assets to support merchandising objectives. Work with internal and external graphic designers to produce digital assets consistent with the global brand architecture and aligned / integrated with key brand campaigns.

  • Determine content needs and communicate content briefs to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure online content is consistent with the global brand and the theme/design for the business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and recommend brand priorities and media budget to Manager to ensure digital advertising tactics are aligned with the brand strategic focus



Management of Creative Projects/Process
Oversee creative strategy for digital and/or social content to drive branding and business goals. May have ownership of the approval process through completion.
  • Support the creation and distribution of digital marketing materials and assets to distributors and partners.



Project Management
Independently manage in direct partnership with cross-functional teams the multiple marketing projects at various stages to a successful and timely execution. Requires strong leadership across the various teams to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Assist manager in the completion of marketing initiatives in partnership with the cross-functional teams and potential external partners.
  • Develop and manage project calendar.
  • Maintain an updated status report on project elements with clear action items and deliverables and follow-up with cross-functional team members and agencies as needed to ensure all project elements are on track.
  • Provide recommendation to manager for approval of materials as needed to secure progress and ultimate completion.



Business Analytics/Reporting Routine and ad hoc analysis and reporting. Track and measure metrics that supports the goals and strategic imperatives from the various initiatives and communicate to appropriate management.


Retailer.com Portfolio Management
Based on dynamic business needs, collaborate with Sales to identify online assortment opportunities for retailer.com. Partner with cross-functional teams for internal setup for manufacturing execution.


Competitive Tracking
Analyze relevant eComm trends (position, advertising trends, pricing, product content) to help improve our brand positioning and aid in future brand plans. Provide insights and recommendations to the business for consumer promotional strategies on retailer.com.



Brand/Business Strategy Contribute to development and execution of short and long-term retailer digital strategies through collaboration with the Marketing team. Execute global retailer.com digital content to support the marketing strategy, drive brand recognition and promote compelling messaging resulting in increased sales activity and leads.
  • Manage and support digital campaigns and promotions with agency of record
  • In conjunction with Sales team build and maintain email and/or social promotional calendar. Purpose expand and improve lead generation and sale opportunities
  • Support the development and maintenance of B2B platform (all brands)



Team Management
  • Assist in training of department staff on marketing process and procedures.



Budget Management Prepare advertising budget recommendations as needed and evaluate pacing of budget throughout the year recommending adjustments, as necessary. Provide content budget needs to marketing business leads to be included in total marketing budget.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Marketing or related field, MBA preferred.
  • Solid understanding of marketing mix: Product, Pricing, Promotion, Advertising, and Distribution strategies.
  • Demonstrated working expertise in digital marketing tactics and web analytics.
  • Solid financial acumen.
  • Strong leadership skills applicable across the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders and interface with various levels of management.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage many projects simultaneously.
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to keep on top of new marketing, consumer trends, and technology.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Minimum Job Experience Required:
  • 3+ years of digital marketing or eCommerce work experience
  • Proven track record of contributing to the development of numerous digital projects of various sizes through the project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated understanding of eCommerce, social media, and digital media.
