Position

: Production Assistant

Thread Collective, Inc (TCI) is a privately-owned global designer, manufacturer and distributor of apparel. We market products for all genders, to all retail tiers - from mass market merchants to high end department stores, specialty boutiques and sporting goods retailers.

- Work Closely with the Production Manager to assist and facilitate any tasks for the production.

- Prepare and update the Buy Sheet to oversea factories

- Enter the Purchase Order in the system

- Prepare the Line Sheet to Buyers

- Follow up and trace the packages from oversea factories

- Manage the style folders for the Fitting Session

- Review and Approve the Trims including the Hang Tag, the Care Label and UPC Stickers etc

- Manage and record the samples from makers

- Send samples to Buyers for the photo shoot and for approval

- Send the Samples and Quality Standard etc. to oversea factories for Production reference

Requirement

- 4 to 5 years experience in the Apparel Industry

- Interested at working at the Fashion Industry and eager to learn

- Extremely organized and detailed oriented.

- Great time management skills, ability to prioritize and complete the task on time.

- Ability to work in collaborative team environment, as well as work independently

- Excellent level in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Momentis (Purchase Order Entry as well as PDM Knowledge) is an asset

Description de l'emploi

- Travailler en etroite collaboration avec le directeur de production pour aider et faciliter toutes les taches de la production.

- Preparer et mettre a jour la feuille d'achat pour les usines d'outre-mer.

- Saisir le bon de commande dans le systeme

- Preparer la feuille de ligne aux acheteurs

- Suivre et tracer les colis des usines d'outre-mer

- Gerer les dossiers de style pour la seance d'essayage

- Examiner et approuver les garnitures, y compris l'etiquette volante, l'etiquette d'entretien et les autocollants UPC, etc.

- Gerer et enregistrer les echantillons des fabricants

- Envoyer des echantillons aux acheteurs pour la seance photo et pour approbation

- Envoyer les echantillons et la norme de qualite, etc. aux usines d'outre-mer pour reference de production

Exigence du poste

- 4 a 5 ans d'experience dans l'industrie du vetement

- Interesse a travailler dans l'industrie de la mode et desireux d'apprendre

- Extremement organise et soucieux du detail.

- Excellentes competences en gestion du temps, capacite a hierarchiser et a terminer la tache a temps.

- Capacite a travailler dans un environnement d'equipe collaboratif, ainsi qu'a travailler de maniere autonome

- Excellent niveau en Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Momentis (saisie des bons de commande ainsi que connaissances PDM) est un atout
