 The University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, in partnership with Alberta Health Services (AHS), invites applications for an academic position within the Division of Pediatric Immunology, Hematology/Oncology, Palliative Care and Environmental Health (iHOPE) in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Alberta. This position is a part of the Alberta Academic Medicine and Health Services Program (AMHSP). 
 This full-time (1.0 FTE), tenure-track (contingent) position comprises approximately 40-50% time for clinical service and 50-60% time for academic pursuits, divided between research, teaching, and administrative duties (negotiable). The successful candidate will contribute to education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including the Royal College-accredited subspecialty training program in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology. 
 The successful applicant will join the IHOPE (Immunology, Hematology, Oncology, and Palliative Care) division, which includes eight pediatric oncologists as well as pediatric hematology, immunology, and palliative care subspecialists, basic scientists, and the Northern Alberta Children's Cancer Program. We have an active basic and clinical science program, with collaborations locally, nationally, and internationally. The Northern Alberta Children's Cancer Program sees patients from across Northern Alberta, Northern British Columbia, and the Northwest Territories. Our program is an active contributor to the Children's Oncology Group and other cooperative clinical group trials. We have a Royal College accredited subspecialty training program in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology. Our program is well supported by all pediatric subspecialties within the Stollery, including experienced pediatric surgeons, pediatric radiologists, pediatric radiation oncologists, and pediatric pathologists. 
 About WCHRI 
 The Women and Children's Health Research Institute (WCHRI) supports researchers within the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry and Alberta Health Services. With a focus on advancing women's, children's, and perinatal health, WCHRI provides extensive resources for faculty conducting research in these areas. 
 As a member of WCHRI, the successful candidate will have access to funding opportunities, biostatistical expertise, qualitative design support, knowledge translation resources, and clinical trials services. WCHRI also invests in research development by supporting trainees through scholarships, fellowships, and travel grants for presenting research outcomes.
