Job Summary

The Assistant, University Registrar and AVP Enrolment Management serves as the

primary contact for the University Registrar and AVP Enrolment Management and is

responsible for providing confidential administrative support for the day-to-day

operations of the office and University Committee work. Duties include managing

complex filing systems and keeping the appointment calendar current.


The Assistant is also responsible for supporting administration of a variety of

committees, processes, and projects within the Office of the Registrar.


Qualifications


------------------


Two (2) year diploma required. Minimum two (2) years' experience providing administrative support in an office, preferably in a post-secondary environment. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Demonstrated understanding of University policies and procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, written and oral. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrated experience organizing meetings and taking minutes/notes. Demonstrated ability to manage schedules and appointments. Experience in writing reports and tabulating data. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters with discretion, tact and diplomacy. Advanced skills in the use of office productivity software such as Microsoft Office. Some experience working with a student information system (Ellucian Banner preferred).
