Jen Evoy Makeup Studio is an exciting, fast-paced, one-stop beauty shop in the heart of Etobicoke! We service clients for all their special event and wedding needs and are currently seeking a
dynamic Assistant Manager
to help lead our team and oversee daily operations.
This position acts as the
eyes and ears of the business
, reporting directly to the Salon Owner. The Assistant Manager plays a vital role in ensuring an outstanding client experience through effective leadership, organization, and team management. You'll be the go-to person who supports, motivates, and guides our team, helping them succeed while upholding our salon's culture and values.
Responsibilities
Business Operations
Schedule and manage client appointments
Handle client communications via email and phone
Prepare estimates, invoices, and process payments
Oversee facility maintenance, safety, and inventory
Develop social marketing campaigns and strategies
Create and engage with social media content (including IG stories, must be comfortable being on camera)
Maintain a high level of customer service and client satisfaction
Resolve client issues or concerns promptly and professionally
Team Leadership
Support and motivate staff to achieve performance and sales goals
Offer feedback and guidance to help team members grow
Reinforce a positive, high-energy, and collaborative culture
Provide coaching and redirection when needed in alignment with salon values
Set an example by leading with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm
Qualifications
Quick learner with the ability to pick up new systems and processes
High-achieving, ambitious, and results-oriented
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to unite a team under a shared vision and understand individual motivators
Innovative and solutions-focused
Decisive, organized, and able to multi-task effectively
Tech savvy (experience with QuickBooks, Gmail, or MindBody is an asset but not required)
Previous administrative and management experience is encouraged
Strong work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail
