We have an opening for a full time Assistant Site Supervisor for our developments in Balzac and Cochrane. This role is an integral part of our team and is vital to maintaining the highest standards and producing an exceptional home for our amazing clients!
This position will report directly to the Site Supervisor.
Duties
Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution
Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for planning, tracking progress, and documentation
Manage project budgets by monitoring costs and controlling expenditures in collaboration with the project team
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specified standards and specifications
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Oversee safety compliance by enforcing safety policies and conducting regular site inspections
Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders effectively
Assist in construction estimating and scheduling to optimize resource allocation and project timelines
Experience
Proven supervising experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction processes and site management
Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other relevant tools
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Experience in quality control, budgeting, and construction estimating is highly desirable
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices on construction sites
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and coordinate multiple stakeholders
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction management principles is essential
