We are currently seeking an Assistant Service Manager to join our dynamic team. The Assistant Service Manager will play a key role in supporting the Fixed Operations Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our automotive service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. They will manage the growth and direction of the service team to drive revenue, technical productivity, quality assurance and to promote a high level of customer satisfaction. This position allows you to earn compensation beyond your starting salary.

A day in the life...



Ensure efficient workflow within the service department to meet customer demands and maintain high levels of productivity Provide guidance and support to service team members, including training, coaching, and performance management Collaborate with the Fixed Operations Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving service department performance and customer satisfaction Monitor service quality and customer feedback, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive service experience for all customers Support the dealership in maintaining compliance with safety regulations and company policies Assist in analyzing service department metrics and financial performance to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities Effectively collaborate with other departments, such as sales, parts, and administration, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of service objectives with overall business goals Other duties as assigned and as may be amended from time to time to meet company objectives

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve performance goals within a high stress environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and vendors Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail Proficient computer skills, including experience with automotive service management software Proven experience in automotive service or related field, with a thorough understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

What We Require From You...



High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in business, automotive, or management is a plus Minimum 3+ years automotive service experience, Service Advisor and/or Service Experience with CDK Dealer Management system and the Microsoft Office Suite is an asset Management experience considered an asset Valid driver's license and Driver's Abstract required Record of Conduct required

Rate of pay: $52,000/yr plus commission.
