We are looking for a

Assistant Service Manager

to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in terms of the customer experience in conducting diagnostic procedures to determine vehicle maintenance requirements and providing accurate repair recommendations to our customers.

Your Key Responsibilities



Work the shift from Tuesday to Saturdays 7:30am to 5:00pm Distribute the RO's into the shop in a manner to best service the customers. De-escalate and resolve customer complaints to customer's satisfaction. Maintain and monitor the hours/RO of the team. Help train on process where necessary. Establish rapport with retail customers in person and on the phone. Clarify customer needs that help to locate the required service and suggest any related service in which customers might be interested. Work with Hyundai and other vendors to get warranty work approved and paid. Understand and coordinate the flow of work between the technicians and parts in order to best serve the customer. Become an integral part of a cohesive team environment that strives to create the best possible experience for our Parts, Service and Sales customers

Your Capabilities and Credentials



Completion of a related post-secondary program and or training courses is considered an asset. Experience with PBS is considered an asset. Minimum of 3 years, verifiable management experience required. A detailed understanding of Parts and Service operations. A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. A person of professionalism and high integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honours their commitments. Detail oriented, self-motivated and resourceful. High-level skills in Word, Excel and MS Office etc. Ability to meet physical demands such as standing for long periods of time. Must possess a valid driver's license and have a safe driving history. References required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent


Salary: $70,000 -$90,000.00 per year
