Reports to: New Vehicle Manager Summary:
This position is responsible for leading, coaching and motivating a team and working directly with employees and customers to provide an amazing purchasing experience. Job Responsibilities: Coaching your Team
  • Build and coach your team towards achievement of expectations , objectives and goals.
  • Coach, mentor and train Brand Ambassadors to assist customers, answer questions, structure deals and/or payments.
  • Communicate, train and advise Brand Ambassadors on after sales products.
  • Evaluate results and provide feedback to team members in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure staff understand s and follow s department policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate sales training for continued team growth.
  • Hold daily huddles and weekly sales meetings with sales staff.
  • Administer training schedule for team \xe2\x80\x93 required OEM/Pfaff training.
  • Oversees the Compliance Administrators to ensure paperwork is completed accurately, funding processed post delivery and follow up of factory incentives/receivables.
Relationship Management
  • Create a customer focused environment and continuously strive to improve the customer experience.
  • Ensure proper follow up of all potential buyers by developing, implementing and monitoring a prospecting and sales control system.
  • Establish and maintain standards for the delivery of vehicles to customers.
  • Manage customer escalations and disputes as necessary.
  • Maintain customer and company confidence by keeping information confidential and secure.
Administrative
  • Completes and reviews daily reports as requested.
  • Oversees inventory.
  • Reviews available programs from manufacturer, banks and aftersales companies to ensure maximum profitability.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Driven buyer with advanced knowledge of automotive marketplace
  • Progressive experience in vehicle retail sales; pre-owned experience is preferred.
  • Experience in a supervisory role is an asset.
  • Valid Ontario Drivers License and a Clean Drivers Abstract.
  • OMVIC Certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal & written English) and customer service skills.
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledgeable in a sales environment and management of a sales system funnel process.
  • Ability to build long-lasting and trusting teams and customer relationships.
  • Ability to unite a team under a shared vision and know what motivates each member.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of pertinent data.
