We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Sales Manager to support our retail operations. Responsibilities
Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including sales, customer service, and staff management
Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new team members
Manage payroll, cash handling, and bookkeeping to ensure accurate financial records
Supervise sales associates, providing training & development to enhance team performance
Implement merchandising strategies and pricing adjustments to maximize sales potential
Oversee POS systems, inventory purchasing, and store merchandising standards
Develop and execute marketing initiatives to attract customers and increase store visibility
Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports for management review
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and customer service excellence
Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using effective phone etiquette and communication skills
Qualifications
Proven experience in retail sales, store management, or sales management roles with supervisory responsibilities
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to serve a diverse customer base
Exceptional communication skills for customer interactions, team coordination, and marketing efforts
Experience in merchandising, pricing strategies, purchasing, and budgeting processes
Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, training & development practices
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Strong math skills for sales analysis and financial recordkeeping
