Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong background in restaurant management. This role involves assisting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will play a key role in team management, staff training, and creating a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and profitability Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service standards Oversee cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism to ensure satisfaction Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new team members Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on staff scheduling and performance evaluations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment

Requirements

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising staff Proficiency with POS systems, particularly Givex POS, for efficient order processing Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere Experience in food preparation, cooking, serving, or Store Management duties is highly desirable Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in Fat Bastard Burrito Co. or Fast food Restaurant settings is required.

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
