We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. Duties
Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer experiences
Supervise and support staff, including interviewing, training, and scheduling team members
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
Handle cash transactions and POS systems such as Micros POS efficiently and accurately
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and coordinate with kitchen staff for efficient food service
Monitor restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, and safety protocols
Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to uphold high service standards
Support in implementing promotional activities and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
Skills
Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant management, hospitality, or food service
Strong leadership skills with supervising experience and team management capabilities
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Proficiency with POS systems, particularly Micros POS or similar platforms
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs
Ability to manage cash handling accurately and efficiently
Experience with interviewing and training staff members
Kitchen experience or restaurant experience preferred; hotel or barista experience is a plus
Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Leadership qualities with a focus on teamwork, hospitality, and maintaining high standards of food handling and service
