Position Description

Reporting to the Principal Investigator and/or Lab Manager, the Assistant Research Technologist is responsible for applying straightforward technical knowledge and skills to perform well-defined, routine and/or repetitive tests, experiments or procedures.

Here's What You'll Get To Do:

Perform routine physical, chemical and biological lab procedures Prepare media, solutions, reagents, sections and slides, and do routine assays following prescribed methods Be responsible for accuracy of techniques, using established policies and procedures to resolve routine problems

Here's What You'll Need

Post secondary education in Science (e.g., certification as a Registered Technologist) Demonstrated competency in written and verbal communication A commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity and inclusion objectives

Employment Type: Casual, 12 month contract. Number of hours per week to be determined.
