Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Property Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining the property's overall functionality. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a customer-focused mindset, with experience in property management or related fields.
Responsibilities
Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the property, including tenant relations and maintenance requests.
Utilize Yardi software for data entry, tenant management, and reporting.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing documents, managing correspondence, and maintaining organized records.
Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and prospective residents through effective communication and phone etiquette.
Support sales efforts by conducting property tours and assisting with lease negotiations.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely resolution of tenant issues through Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Assist in the preparation of reports on occupancy rates, leasing activity, and property performance.
Requirements
Proven office experience with a strong administrative background.
Prior experience in property management is highly desirable.
Must Have CMRAO limited License
Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on relationship building.
Excellent negotiation skills to facilitate lease agreements effectively.
Ability to perform data entry accurately and maintain organized filing systems.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette.
