Southwest Fire Protection is a trusted provider of fire protection services based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We specialize in installation, service and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems for both residential and commercial properties.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management efforts across various construction projects. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a solid understanding of construction processes. The Assistant Project Coordinator will work closely with the Construction Manager to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
Duties
Assist in monitoring project progress
Assist with job costing and tracking of project expenses.
Assist in developing safety plans as required to satisfy project requirements.
Prepare and manage project documentation.
Provide support to managers and other office staff as required.
Perform other office duties when assigned.
Qualifications
3 - 5 years experience within the construction or fire protection industry.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and Google Docs.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in documentation reporting.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently.
