Utilizing a culturally responsive, decolonizing, and inclusive pedagogical framework, the candidate will teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in their areas of expertise. The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain a robust research program and assume educational leadership responsibilities, such as curriculum development, evaluation, innovation, course coordination, graduate teaching assistant supervision, thesis supervision, and other leadership roles.Candidates should have a relevant PhD (or a PhD in Ed.D.). Candidates who are in the later stages of their PhD may be considered with the successful completion of the PhD being a condition of employment. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate a commitment to and expertise in EDIAD to course design, research endeavours, and teaching. Teaching experience at the K-12 level and experience with face-to-face and online teaching modes are also preferred.CBU teaches programs on campus, off campus in locations across and outside of Canada, and on-line. The university and its partners will therefore provide opportunities for faculty members to teach in different modes in different locations as part of their regular workload.
