The Department of Management and Organizations in the School of Business invites applications for an entry-level, full-time, tenure-track appointment in Human Resources Management at the rank of Assistant Professor, commencing July 1, 2026, subject to final budgetary approval.


The Department of Management and Organizations has 18 full-time faculty and offers Human Resources Management and Management majors, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Property Management minors, in addition to Honours Designations in the Bachelor of Commerce.


You will teach a variety of undergraduate human resources management courses (e.g., Introduction to HRM, Employee Relations, Compensation, Learning and Development, HR Analytics and Program Evaluation), pursue academic and/or community-based scholarship, and work collaboratively to contribute service to the operation of the University


You must have, or be close to completion of, a terminal degree in Human Resources Management or a closely related field and will demonstrate a primary commitment to undergraduate teaching and an ongoing research program. A professional Human Resources designation, such as CPHR, and professional experience in HR will be considered an asset.


You will submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, teaching dossier (including recent teaching evaluations), statement of research interests, and sample of scholarly work.
