The McGill University Department of Anesthesia in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time Contract Academic Staff position at the rank of Assistant Professor (Clinical) based at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC). This will be a Contract Academic Staff position and does not confer eligibility for tenure.

Job Duties
The successful candidate will be involved in the academic activities of the McGill University Department of Anesthesia. They are an experienced anesthesiologist with recognized expertise in interventional pain management. The incumbent will have extensive experience in chronic and interventional pain medicine, with a strong record of academic engagement, clinical leadership, and teaching.
The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in ultrasound-and fluoroscopy-guided pain procedures, such as nerve and plexus blocks, radiofrequency ablation, epidural and sympathetic interventions, vertebral augmentation, and neuromodulation techniques. Relevant experience in developing or directing pain fellowship programs and mentoring trainees will be considered an asset.
The successful candidate will join the Adult Pain Management Unit (AEPMU) of the MUHC and contribute primarily to clinical interventional pain services, as well as to the department's educational and research missions.
