The Department of Accounting and Finance in the School of Business invites applications for at least one (1) entry-level, full-time, tenure-track appointment in Accounting at the rank of Assistant Professor, commencing July 1, 2026, subject to final budgetary approval.
Your focus will be to continue your scholarly work in an area of accounting, and teach in an area of accounting, tax, auditing, or information systems.
You will likely have expertise in one of the following areas:
Information systems and data analytics,
Advanced financial accounting and accounting standards,
Tax, or
Auditing.
You likely have evidence of effective teaching of courses at the undergraduate level, and the beginning of a record of scholarly work in the field. Experience in industry, government or not-for-profit organizations is an asset.
You must have, or be close to completion of, a terminal degree in accounting and will demonstrate a primary commitment to undergraduate teaching and an ongoing research program. In addition, you may be certified as a CPA or are willing and able to obtain a Canadian CPA designation in the first three years.
You will submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, teaching dossier (including recent teaching evaluations), statement of research interests, and sample of scholarly work.

Only selected candidates will be required to submit official transcripts sent directly from the institutions where you completed your degrees.
