Job Description

An Assistant Pre-Owned Sales Manager assists the Sales Manager in overseeing the pre-owned vehicle sales department, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to the achievement of sales targets. This role involves supporting the sales team, managing inventory, and maintaining high customer satisfaction standards. The Assistant Manager also plays a key role in training, motivating, and monitoring the performance of sales personnel. Here's a more detailed breakdown of the responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with Sales Management:

Supporting the Sales Manager in executing sales strategies and achieving sales targets. Analyzing sales data and submitting recommendations for improvement. Helping to forecast sales goals and objectives. Assisting in closing deals and following up with customers.

Team Leadership & Development:

Motivating and guiding the sales team to achieve targets. Providing training and support to sales staff. Monitoring the performance of sales personnel and providing feedback. Ensuring staff are properly licensed and trained.

Inventory Management:

Assisting in managing pre-owned vehicle inventory, including appraisals and stocking decisions. Maintaining a balanced inventory based on customer needs and market trends.

Customer Satisfaction:

Ensuring high standards for vehicle delivery and customer service. Addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly.

Operational Efficiency:

Ensuring dealership policies and procedures are followed. Assisting in developing and managing the sales department budget. Contributing to the overall efficiency and profitability of the pre-owned department.

Other Duties:

Participating in sales meetings and training sessions. Assisting with various administrative tasks as needed. Maintaining a professional image and positive attitude.
Required Skills and Experience:

Strong sales background with a proven track record. Experience in automotive sales management or as an assistant sales manager. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Proficiency with CRM and other sales-related software. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
