Job Purpose



This is a entry level management position, aimed at bringing up our next generation of department managers. The successful applicant will aid the Pre-Owned Manager with all day to day tasks related to successfully running a profitable department. Including evaluating, reconditioning, displaying and marketing the Pre-Owned vehicle inventory. They will also set the example for the pre-owned team by selling pre-owned inventory themselves.

Responsibilities



Follow up on all potential buyers, closely monitoring DealerSocket with the Manager and sales team. Maintain standards for the delivery of vehicles to the customers. Evaluate incoming Pre-Owned vehicles. Learn and aid in optimizing GM's Certified Pre-Owned program and ensure inventory meets standards. Both in reconditioning and display. Plan and manage the display of vehicles in the parking area. Keep abreast of the manufacturer's current product, program and promotional events, and/or those of the financial institutions. Notify the sales team of any changes. Provide the Sales Consultants with daily support. Monitor Sales Consultant's activities to ensure that we achieve high CSI results. Encourage departmental teamwork. Maintain good communications with the New Vehicle department, as well as other departments. Performs other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions.

Requirements



Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the automotive industry. Valid Alberta Driver's License. Clear Driver's Abstract. Valid AMVIC registration. Strong business acumen. Professional appearance. Excellent communication skills: verbal and written. Excellent customer service skills. Exceptional leadership qualities. A desire to grow as a person with their team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
