ASSISTANT PLANT MANAGER

Location:

  • Ontario Food Factory: 25 Sims Crescent Unit 1 Richmond Hill ON L4B 1C9 | Shift: Sunday to Thursday
Job Responsibilities:

The Assistant Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations of production to ensure all duties are carried out safety and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Purchase material inventory for the operation.
  • Create labor, production and distribution schedules.
  • Optimize and execute production schedules by planning, organizing and controlling resources.
  • Hire, train and manage the performance of the team.
  • Provide hands on experience in day to day operations
  • Ensure safety and overall compliance with Workplace Safety and Health Act.
  • Ensure all materials used on the conveyor belt are according to the company\xe2\x80\x99s standards.
  • Manage special projects and ad-hoc reports as requested.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role in the Food Manufacturing Industry.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP plant experience.
  • Be proficient with MS Office programs.
  • Ability to manage temperature controlled products.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Leadership skills to manage a food processing facility.
  • Ability to motivate and direct a team.
