Job Overview:
One of North America's signature sparkling beverage brands is looking for an experienced and motivated Plant Manager to help drive its high double-digit growth trajectory. With accountability for the rapidly expanding Manitoba-based bottling plant, this driven operations leader will bring technical, leadership, and financial/budgetary experience to continue developing our facility into a world-class operation.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
• Operational Management: Overseeing and supporting the day-to-day administrative functions within the manufacturing facility
• Coordinate and aid in the day-to-day activities of the Plant Manager
• Administrative Support : Provide comprehensive administrative support to plant management, lead hands, production departments and other departments at Head Office. Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and presentations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and documentation
• Data Management and Reporting: Compile, analyze, and report production and operational data to the management team.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure timely submission of reports.
• Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking.
• Organize and execute team member engagement and celebration activities
• Provide support of Company Stake Holders, Management and visitors
• Manage office supplies, equipment and electronic filing systems
• Support Plant Management with Company communications and company initiatives that foster employee morale
• Support HR functions, including onboarding, payroll and employee records
• Procurement and Inventory Management: Order office and plant supplies while monitoring inventory levels
• maintains inventory levels to ensure production run flow without interruptions and delays
• Work with Company Operations and Supply Chain, vendors and suppliers to manage orders, deliveries, and invoicing
• Accounting responsibilities, including invoice processing and vendor communications
• Prepare reports, presentations and documents for leadership
• Orders and keeps supplies for conference/break rooms
• Managing all postings on plant wise communication boards, including digital boards and external boards
• Process Improvement : Identify inefficiencies in administrative processes and recommend improvements. Implement new tools and systems to enhance workflow and productivity
• Compliance and Safety : Maintain and update plant compliance documents, including safety regulations, permits, and audits
• Coordinate safety training sessions and maintain records of safety compliance
Minimum Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree an asset
• Experience: minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role supporting a team of leaders, ideally within a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Technical Skills: Must have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to adapt your communication style to different audiences, including active listening, clear and concise presentation skills, and the capacity to provide and receive feedback
• Must respond to verbal and written instructions promptly and accurately
• Must be able to proactively problem-solve and carry out detailed instructions to deal with problems
• Must be able to deal effectively with a variety of personalities and situations requiring confidentiality, tact, judgement, and poise
• Must have Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills to include Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
• Must have at least 2 years of SAP experience
• Must have strong organizational and attention to detail skills
• Must be able to pivot and adapt to changing priorities
