Description:Assistant Parts ManagerMaxim Truck & Trailer580 Oakpoint Hwy.Winnipeg, MBWe are looking for an Assistant Parts Manager to join our Team!Our Assistant Part Manager oversees staff in the sales of Trailer parts to ensure efficient operations and to produce profitable sales for the company while building long-term customer relationships.Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff following Maxim\xe2\x80\x99s Leadership principles. This includes hiring the right staff and retaining them as well as training and motivating staff to high performance by ensuring they have the correct skills and knowledge.
- Monitors and ensures proper handling of expenses such as freight, parts supplies, and warranty write-offs etc.
- Provides sales support for sales staff (e.g. on specialized trailer parts), orders parts from vendors, invoices, and ensures wrong parts returned. Oversees daily operation of Parts store and organizes payroll for staff.
- Reads and analyzes daily parts reports (e.g. financials, daily repair shop). Charge out parts.
- Answers internal and external customer inquiries. Sells parts to customers from Parts Counter as relief for parts staff as required. Oversees annual inventory for branch including preparation and clean-up work
