Role Overview

As our

Assistant Operations Manager

, you will be in charge of creating a daily schedule for our crew teams (work orders, deliveries, installation, etc.) with existing and new clients. You will support everything from seasonal spring plantings to corporate holiday decor installs and ensure each project upholds our reputation for quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor

service supervisors and plant technicians

Maintaining and developing excellent client-company relationships

(handling client concerns, daily client email communications, etc.)

Coordinate

the workflow for the service teams and technicians which includes scheduling and service routes

Assisting

Sales Team with client services

Maintain

operational systems and tracking in Microsoft Word, Excel, and related tools

Overseeing of seasonal and large-scale projects

(spring flowers, Christmas Decor, rentals)

Requirements:

3+ years in a supervisor or operations role,

managing teams or departments

Strong computer proficiency

(Word, Excel, scheduling tools)

Well organized,

hands-on, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced service industry

Motivating personality

that inspires staff to perform at their best and thinks "outside the box"

Excellent

communication and interpersonal skills

Capable of balancing

different types of landscaping projects and team working

Plant knowledge an asset
