Job Description

Reporting to the Center Manager, the Assistant Center Manager acts as the manager's right hand. The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the facility in the manager's absence, while actively contributing to the planning and management of human resources, finances, commercial strategy, and daily operations. The Assistant Center Manager plays a key role in maintaining service quality and ensuring customer satisfaction

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Support the Center Manager in the development and implementation of the center's commercial strategy Manage and coordinate the center's activities, including internal leagues, events, kids' programs, and food & beverage services Contribute to the management and optimization of the center's budget, in alignment with the objectives and guidelines set by the Center Manager Assist with recruitment, training, team leadership, and staff evaluation, while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and procedures Participate in daily operations of the facility, including but not limited to: customer service and reception, cash handling, event animation, bar service, and refereeing when required Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and maintenance of facilities and equipment Strengthen relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders within the Socceroof network Handle customer complaints and suggestions by providing appropriate and effective solutions Analyze the center's performance indicators and propose corrective or preventive actions to the Center Manager Ensure the center's compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS



Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar role Strong knowledge of customer experience standards Excellent command of both English and French, spoken and written Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Solid understanding of soccer operations and processes (an asset) Knowledge of the soccer market in Toronto and/or Ontario (an asset)

WORKING CONDITIONS



Full-time position (35-37.5 hours per week) Compensation based on experience and aligned with Socceroof's coordination salary scale On-site position Flexible schedule (daytime and/or evenings)

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
