We are looking for a motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team in our retail jewellery and gift shops. As our representative of the Kuriosities and Crow\'s Nest brands, the ideal candidates will have a love of sharing the stories behind our work and the products that we create and sell, will enjoy meeting new people, and nurturing relationships with our loyal growing local clientele. Assistant Manager + Assist the manager in overseeing and supervising daily operations and organizational standards of the store + Design and maintain well merchandised displays + Assist in the creation of seasonal store window displays + Deliver excellent customer service, and ensure a high satisfaction rate among clients + Assist in training, motivation, scheduling and supervising of seasonal employees + Assist in content creation on social media platforms and website + Count Cash and Make Deposits + Keyholder opening and closing duties Daily work schedule varies seasonally. 35-40 hours/ week year-round. Must be available to work weekends and evenings. Qualifications and Skills + high school diploma and minimum 1-2 years in a relevant retail keyholder position + strong organizational skills + superior customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills + strong writing skills + knowledge of merchandising and display creation + knowledge of, or experience in, the jewellery industry an asset, but we will provide training + talent for bringing a team together and inspiring staff + applicants must be bondable and criminal checks will be performed Salary range $17-$19/ hour depending on experience.
