Assistant Manager

Job Description

Under the direction of the Harbormaster, this position assists in the day to day operations of the marina. Assists the Marina Manager with managing and supervising the staff of the Marina, Fuel dock and Service department. During active boating season, most work is outdoors, and the off season is mostly administrative.

Must have a valid driver's license, boat operator's license and forklift operator license. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is important. Monday - Friday from November - March, must be available for evenings, weekends and holidays from March - November.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assists Marina Manager in planning and preparing weekly work schedules.

- Assigns employees to specific duties, workstations, or areas.

- Coordinates with Marina Manager on Marina activities, events and projects.

- Social Media development and engagement

- Organize and participate in training and development of Fuel dock and Service department employees.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week
