Position Overview
Dental Training Canada is seeking a qualified Assistant Instructor to join our team for our HARP-approved Accelerated Dental Support Worker Pathway program. This weekend contract position offers the opportunity to mentor and educate the next generation of dental professionals while working alongside experienced lead instructors in a dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate hands-on learning experiences and practical skill development
Demonstrate and teach radiographic techniques, including paralleling and bisecting x-ray procedures
Support classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment
Utilize technology effectively to enhance educational delivery
Adapt quickly to changing situations and provide on-the-spot problem-solving support
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Maintain program standards and ensure compliance with HARP requirements
Required Qualifications
Education & Certification
Level 2 Registered Dental Assistant certification or higher
Current registration in good standing
Experience
Minimum 3 years of hands-on dental assistant work experience
Demonstrated expertise in radiographic techniques (paralleling and bisecting x-rays)

Availability:
