We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by preparing treatment areas, assisting during procedures, and ensuring a smooth patient experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing quality care to diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and orthodontics. Prior experience with dental software such as Cleardent is preferred, along with familiarity with CAD systems and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and proper positioning

Assist the dentist during various treatments, including orthodontic procedures and pediatric dentistry

Sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment in compliance with safety standards

Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary

Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Cleardent

Provide post-treatment instructions to patients and answer their questions professionally

Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols

Support front desk duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow

Skills

Proficiency with Cleardent dental software preferred

Knowledge of general dentistry procedures

Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care

Experience with dental assisting techniques, including sterilization and radiography (CAD) experience is a plus

Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a busy clinical environment
