Ryu Peel is seeking a dedicated and polished Assistant Manager to join our leadership team. This hybrid role combines front-of-house service with day-to-day management. You'll help uphold our high standards of hospitality and play a key role in elevating the guest experience, with a strong focus on wine and beverage service.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the floor with excellence in service, guest care, and product knowledge
Support restaurant operations: opening/closing, cash handling, flow of service
Act as shift lead when the GM is off-site
Supervise and coach FOH team with a hands-on approach
Conduct and lead daily pre-shift meetings
Ensure high standards of cleanliness, mise en place, and ambiance
Assist with inventory, scheduling support, and admin tasks as needed
Deliver a high-end guest experience and handle any service issues calmly
Recommend and serve wines confidently, supporting the sommelier team
Schedule:
4 shifts per week (evenings and weekends included)
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year hospitality experience, including 1 year in a leadership role
Solid wine knowledge (WSET training or equivalent an asset)
Bilingual (English & French)
Refined sense of hospitality, strong team leadership, and attention to detail
Comfortable in fast-paced, high-end environments

Nous cherchons un(e) assistant(e)-gerant(e) passionne(e) et experimente(e) pour rejoindre l'equipe de direction de Ryu Peel. Ce poste polyvalent allie service en salle et responsabilites de gestion. Vous serez un pilier de l'experience client, avec une attention particuliere portee aux vins et a l'art du service.
Responsabilites principales :
Mener le service avec professionnalisme, assurance et attention aux details
Appuyer les operations du restaurant : ouvertures, fermetures, caisse, coordination du service
Jouer le role de leader de quart en l'absence du directeur general
Encadrer et motiver l'equipe de salle au quotidien
Animer les reunions pre-service et assurer une bonne communication interne
Maintenir un haut niveau de proprete, de mise en place et d'ambiance
Participer a certaines taches administratives (inventaires, horaires, etc.)
Offrir une experience client raffinee et gerer les imprevus avec calme
Conseiller les clients sur les vins et appuyer l'equipe de sommellerie
Horaire :
4 quarts de travail par semaine (incluant soirs et fins de semaine)
Exigences :
Minimum 2 ans d'experience en restauration, dont 1 en role de supervision
Bonne connaissance des vins (formation WSET ou equivalent un atout)
Bilingue (francais et anglais)
Sens de l'accueil, leadership naturel, et rigueur dans l'execution
A l'aise dans un environnement haut de gamme et dynamique
