Profile: Our client is a distributor of industrials goods and is looking for an Assistant General Manager who will work with the General Manager in the day to day management of the company's operations. Your role will be to help productivity, procurement and the entire order process. You must be able to work in a fast-paced industry, bring positivity, recruit and you will replace the GM when need be.

Territory: Province of Quebec

Workplace: Montreal (5 days at office)

Products/Services: Industrial products

Salary: Base $90,000-$100,000

Commissions/Bonus: Annual profit-sharing plan

Car allowance: N/A

Expense's reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Functions:

manage order process
manage procurement process
assist GM in coordinating and supervising daily operations
ensure compliance with established procedures
create various reports using our ERP, use dashboards to analyze and highlight trends
make recommendations based on data and real life
proactively recruit for a variety of positions and once on board, train and perform performance evaluations
replace and represent GM when he is absent

Requirements

• Essential - 5 to 10 years in an industrial field
• Essential - Distribution experience

Knowledge and abilities

• Essential - HR management
